When a student is absent from school, the reason for the absence must be reported to the school. All absences must be reported within THREE DAYS. This may be done in one of the following ways:

               -Submitting a signed note to the attendance office
               -Calling the absence attendance line at 760-243-4136
               -Completing the online absence reporting form

Note: A valid email address matching the one we have on the student's file in Aeries must be entered when reporting an absence. After completing the absence form, you will receive an email confirmation for your records. If the email address does not match the one we have on the student's file, the reported absence will not be accepted.

If you have multiple students out, please fill out a form for EACH child.

We excuse absences per California Educational Code Section 48205.
