1. What do you like most about going to Riverside Prep? Probably the people, my classmates and the staff. They're all very welcoming, especially compared to the schools I went to before I came here.

2. What's your favorite class/teacher and why? My favorite teacher has to be Coach Mac. I had him for AP U.S. History and he's been my basketball coach here. He just pushes me to be better and make something of myself. And my favorite class right now is Anatomy with Mr. Marks. It's cool to learn about the human body and the things he shows us you can actually feel on your body, which is really interesting.

3. What do you like to do outside of school? I love basketball. I've always been the tallest kid in my grade, but I didn't start playing until 8th grade and I just fell in love with it. And I also really like to paint, specifically nature. I had Art with Mr. Bant my freshman year and I just really enjoyed painting, which I didn't expect. I like how it's cool to take the time and see it all come together while I'm painting.

4. What do you want to do after you graduate? I want to play basketball in college on a scholarship. I'm not sure where I'm going to go yet, but I might go the junior college route at Chaffey and then try to transfer to a Division 1 program after a couple years.
Comment from Coach Mac: David is a smart individual with a lot of potential. Coaching him as a freshman and teaching him from 11th grade to now, he has matured greatly. His demeanor is positive and is very respectful. He is driven and determined, and once he truly focuses on how much positivity he could bring the world, he will do great things.
